Today, we join the world in celebrating World Shorebirds Day! 

Every year on 6 September, we celebrate World Shorebirds Day—an annual event dedicated to raising awareness of shorebirds and their conservation. One of the key events is the Global Shorebird Counting Program (1–7 September 2025), which highlights the importance of regular bird monitoring as a core element in protecting bird populations and conserving their habitats.
