Posted by EAAFP communications on November 7, 2016选择其他语言: 保尔森基金会 数百万的候鸟已经回到中国滨海湿地，在此停歇，为前往南部越冬地的长途飞行提供补给。但是，因为工业和农业扩张，鸟类以及它们赖以生存的湿地正急剧消失。 希望尚存：中国政府正推动建设生态文明，以更好地平衡自然保护与社会发展，逐渐提高对珍稀湿地保护的关注度。 以下五点可以帮助我们更好地了解中国滨海湿地：滨海湿地是中国最濒危、保护力度最弱的生态系统：在过去的半个世纪里，中国超过60%的滨海湿地已被破坏。根据保尔森基金会和中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所于2015年10月共同发布的《中国滨海湿地保护管理战略研究项目》显示，中国已经损失了53%的温带滨海湿地、73%的红树林和80%的珊瑚礁。仅有24%的滨海湿地被列为保护地，远低于全国湿地平均5%保护水平。 滨海湿地的生态系统服务至关重要：湿地可以进行营养物质循环、储存碳、净化水体、吸收污染物，为许多鱼类种群提供产卵、哺育的场所，并提供维持海洋生态系统健康的微生物。湿地保护沿海城市和居民抵御海平面上升和包括台风在内的极端天气所带来的影响。 滨海湿地是候鸟生存的关键：滨海湿地为全球候鸟提供了繁殖、停留和越冬的场所。在全球9条候鸟迁徙路线中，有3条经过中国境内。这些迁徙水鸟中，至少有27种迁徙水鸟处于受胁或近危状态，其中24种以中国滨海湿地为主要栖息地。 滨海湿地是抵御气候变化影响的重要屏障：中国一半的城市位于沿海地区，沿海人口占全国的40%，经济总量占全国GDP的60%。滨海湿地可以保护我们抵御与减缓全球变暖带来的海平面上升和极端气候带来的负面影响。滨海湿地在支持沿海地区经济、促进社会可持续发展和增进人类福祉方面扮演着重要角色。 滨海湿地保护红线即将告破：

Posted by EAAFP communications on November 4, 2016选择其他语言: 保尔森基金会 昨日，中国国际经济交流中心、河北省人民政府、中华人民共和国国际湿地公约履约办公室和保尔森基金会，在秦皇岛北戴河共同举办“北戴河滨海湿地及水鸟保护国际研讨会”，旨在更好地推动中国黄渤海滨海湿地及水鸟的保护工作，促进“中国滨海湿地保护管理战略研究”项目部分政策建议的落实。国内外有关研究机构、保护组织的专家、中国政府有关部门和黄渤海地区部分省市政府的代表等参加了研讨会。 黄渤海拥有世界上最大的泥质滩涂湿地。这些湿地不仅为我国和周边其他国家的社会经济发展提供了各类重要的生态系统服务，也为东亚-澳大利西亚候鸟迁徙路线（EAAF）上数百万只的候鸟提供了关键的停歇地和栖息地，具有极其重要的国际意义。然而，自上世纪五十年代以来，中国快速的经济发展已导致60%以上的天然沿海湿地丧失，目前每年仍以2%左右的速度在丧失。黄渤海区域的滨海湿地面积也大幅减少、功能减退。与滨海湿地这一变化趋势相关的是，近年来有多份研究报告指出，东亚-澳大利西亚迁飞区内水鸟的种群数量出现了明显的下降，光是鸻鹬类就有27-33%的种类出现了显著性的下降。 [caption…
