      개발로 해마다 개체수 26% 급감 동아시아-대양주 철새이동경로를 따라 이동하는 물새 가운데 가장 심각한 멸종 위기에 처해 있는 새로는 넓적부리도요(사진)가 꼽힌다. 검은색 주걱 모양의 부리가 특징인 몸길이 약 17㎝의 이 새는 2000년 이후 해마다 26.4%씩 급감해 현재 전세계적으로 200여마리도 채 남지 않은 것으로 파악되고 있다. 현재 감소 추세가 계속된다면 2020년쯤엔 영원히 사라질 것으로 예측돼, 최근 영국에서 […]
