Background
The East Asian–Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) addresses the critical conservation needs of migratory waterbirds and their habitats across the region. With the increasing pressures from habitat loss, climate change, and human activities, it is essential to highlight the efforts and successes of various stakeholders in species conservation.
This side event seeks to provide a platform for members of the AFN (ASEAN Flyway Network) to share their experiences and initiatives in conservation. It aims to foster dialogue, encourage collaboration, and inspire action among participants.
Objectives
1. To showcase successful species conservation initiatives in the region.
2. To facilitate discussions on challenges and solutions in the conservation field.
3. To promote collaboration among stakeholders for improved conservation strategies.
